During these three days, all registered players will be evaluated by our professional coaches and selection panel. The assessment ensures fair team distribution during the auction and helps identify each player’s strengths. What Will Be Assessed? Batting Skills – stroke play, power hitting, running between wickets Bowling Skills – pace, spin, accuracy, consistency Fielding Skills – catching, throwing, agility, ground fielding Fitness Test – endurance, speed, stamina Game Awareness – understanding of match situations and teamwork Purpose of the Assessment To grade players for the auction process To ensure balanced teams for competitive matches To give players feedback on their strengths and areas of improvement Important Instructions for Players Report at the ground at least 30 minutes before your slot Wear comfortable sports gear (cricket whites preferred) Bring your own cricket kit (bat, pads, gloves, etc.) Academy will provide practice balls and nets Follow COVID / safety guidelines (if applicable) Outcome   Each player will be given a performance rating These ratings will be used in the DPL 7 Auction on October 6, 2025 Assessment results will be shared with players before the auction

Player Auction – October 6, 2025 The Player Auction is one of the most exciting stages of the Doctors Premier League Season 7. After the Player Assessments, all players will be entered into the official auction pool, where team owners and captains will bid to form their squads. How It Works Each registered and assessed player will be given a base category/rating based on performance. Team owners/captains will be allotted a virtual budget to buy players. Players will be called one by one for bidding, starting with their base value. Once bidding closes, the player will be officially added to the team’s roster. Purpose of the Auction To ensure balanced and competitive teams. To give every player a fair chance of being selected. To add excitement and transparency to the team formation process. Auction Rules All teams must complete their squads with a minimum and maximum number of players (as decided by organizers). No team can exceed its allocated budget. Unsold players may be brought back into the pool in later rounds. Final squads will be locked at the end of the auction. Player Benefits Every participant gets equal visibility during the auction. Players are chosen based on skill, performance, and demand. Once selected, players become official members of their team for the entire tournament. Outcome   At the end of the auction, 8 competitive teams will be finalized, ready to battle it out in DPL Season 7 starting October 19, 2025.
